Devon is a perfect county for long country walks and we
understand why many people like to bring their dogs with
them.
We have a small number of rooms which are suitable for
dogs, we even have a garden room with small patio area
for you to relax in with your dog.
As these rooms are limited we ask that you inform us at
the time of booking that you wish to bring your dog so we
can allocate a suitable room for you and your pet.
Although we welcome dogs there are a few rules which we
ask to to obey in order to make your stay and your fellow
guests as enjoyable as possible;
1. When walking through the Hotel and in the garden we
ask that all dogs are kept on a their lead.
2. Please be aware that not all people are comfortable
with dogs especially large and energetic ones therefore
we ask that dogs be kept under control and supervision at
all time.
3. We welcome dogs but we are not a boarding kennel, so
dogs must be accompanied at all times and not left in
their rooms by themselves.
4. Our pet accommodation is suitable for small to medium
sized dogs only, we will unfortuanly have to ask you to
make other arrangements for your dog if we feel it is too
big to comfortably fit in our rooms. As a rough guide
dogs larger that a Border Collie would not be comfortable
in our suites. There are a number of local kennels who
offer suitable accommodation for larger breeds.
6. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to any
dog/ pet wich we feel may disrupt or reduce the enjoyment
of our other guests.
7. For safety reasons dogs are not allowed in the
restaurant, pool or bar areas and are not allowed to be
left by themselves in their room.
8. There is a small charge of £5 per night per dog.
9. If you do not inform us in enough time (usually 2
weeks) prior to your arrival we may not be able to
accommodate your pet and you may have to find alternative
accommodation for them. Therefore we ask that you tell us
at the time of your booking that you would like to bring
you dog.
